Spoiler Summary/Synopsis:

Himari blows off the fact that her parents aren’t around. Then she realizes her mistake and tries act as if she’s devastated. Asimo isn’t impressed, but when Himari reminds him they are alone, suddenly he gets it. She teases him about it.

Meanwhile, at Chitose’s mansion, she scolds Tsukasa for again letting her secret get out. Tsukasa goes off on Chitose, Aurora, and Charlotte, reminding them that she saved their lives. Aurora brings forth her research on Himari. Aurora and Charlotte saw nothing to connect Himari to Tsukasa. However, as Tsukasa reads the report, she remembers the incident involving a young Himari.

Tsukasa tells them that she died in front of Himari, but Himari didn’t see Tsukasa regenerate. As such, Tsukasa thinks she can finagle something. With that, she and Nasa walk home. Tsukasa laments how saving folks on a whim usually turns out to be a mess.

Back at Himari’s place, Asimo is flustered at being in her room. Himari teases him about this, asking him how he feels. Asimo bluntly tells her he wants to hug her tight right then. Himari says he can’t since someone will be returning soon.

Thoughts/Review:

I find it interesting that Tsukasa didn’t specifically remember Himari until she read Aurora’s report in Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 247. That falls in line with Tsukasa having a near perfect memory of the past since she became immortal. I can see how Tsukasa might not recognize an older Himari, but as soon as she read the report about the young Himari, Tsukasa remembered everything.

One bit of lore drop in the chapter is that Tsukasa apparently saved Aurora and Charlotte’s lives. We’ve already seen how Tsukasa saved Chitose. I never knew how Charlotte or Aurora came to be in Tsukasa’s circle. But it makes sense if Tsukasa saved them that they’d work for her (or rather, her adoptive family, via Tokiko).

Finally, I like how chad Asimo gets at times. Himari loves teasing him, but when push comes to shove, he comes right out and says what’s on his mind. Gotta love that in a male character. I’ve kinda come to like the Asimo x Himari romance. That aside, I wonder who Himari lives with if her parents are dead.

Final Thoughts and Conclusion

In the end, Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 247 is a fun and interesting chapter. I like the progression of the Himari x Asimo romance. I also like seeing Tsukasa deal with another person learning her secret.
